Apollo XIII's Ressurection

Like three tears of fallen Lucifer
who bore the light and lost it,
three eagles shed their burden upon the waters.
        Angels leanned from Heaven's windows
and cast unmeasured miles of wings
into the firmament and onto its welcoming seas.
God's vicar came forth from his inmost chambers'
        to benedict his prodical sons
from the plaza of the holy rock.
The tears of the world matched the ocean's waves
as the weary voyagers were cradled on them
in a fire forged basket like triplet Moses
to be found by triplet Pharaoh's daughters
and flown to the floating pyramid.
They entered the crypt to be wrapped
in merciful rest for a little while
        before being unwound and forced
to sketch the visage of divinity.
